(PTI) has a long history of offering quality products at an affordable price. We are extending this service into the future and into new products to better serve our customers. Our products currently cover the following business segments:
RF POWER PALLETS AND ACCESSORIES
For over 12 years PTI has offered RF Power Pallets to the television broadcast industry. This line is being expanded to include state-of-the-art products using the most advanced LDMOS device technology. The pallet line is now not limited to BROADCAST but includes MILITARY, INDUSTRIAL, and SCIENTIFIC products as well.
INTEGRATED RF POWER PALLET AMPLIFIERS AND ACCESSORIES
These amplifiers take the individual pallet structure a step up by integrating them into metal enclosures that include input and output RF connectors, DC voltage connection pins and, in some cases, I/O interface capability. Heat sinks and fans can be provided as necessary. This gives the customer plug-and-play capability. Available options include microprocessor controlled ALC circuits and PA current and voltage monitoring meters. Accessories include combiners, splitters, couplers and phase matched cables.
POWER AMPLIFIER SUBASSEMBLIES
A subassembly is the combining of two or more pallets into a stand-alone Power Amplifier with the necessary power supply(s), heat sink(s) cooling fan(s), removable dust filter(s), metering, fault status and other peripherals “built-in”. These amplifiers can be configured for any application between 1 MHz and 2.8 GHz. PTI has offered this type of amplifier subassembly for a number of years with the U600LPA amplifier being the most popular.
TELEVISION BROADCAST TRANSMITTERS
Over the past years the PTI SOLID STATE TRANSMITTER line has grown from a few watts to over 25 kW. While this product line was developed primarily for Broadcast, units have been used in industrial and scientific applications. The TV broadcast transmitters are available for use in analog service and the new ATSC digital service. PTI offers analog to digital upgrades with modulator, mask filter, and accessories as needed.
